Deck the House Holiday Lighting Contest Entry

Thursday, December 15th  5:30- 7:30 pm

Do you think your house has what it takes to win this year’s holiday decorations contest??  Sign up to be entered into the third annual Deck the House lights contest!

Important Details:

  1. To register, send an email to president@eaderpta.com with your name and address by Thursday, December 8th
  2. Holiday light viewing will take place on Thursday, December 15th from 5:30- 7:30 pm
  3. Get your map and participating addresses here on Thursday, December 15th
  4. Drive by as many houses as you want!  Then come back here to vote for your house with you favorite decorations.  Voting closes at 8:00 pm.
  5. The three houses with the most votes will win!

1st Place:  Deck the Lights Trophy and Eader Spirit Wear
2nd Place:  Family Special from Perry’s Pizza
(includes large two-topping pizza, family garden salad, and a pitcher of soda)
3rd Place:  Four Fountain Valley Skate Passes and $15 Coldstone gift card

 

Hot Cocoa Fundraiser

Help get the 5th graders to Science Camp this year by purchasing hot cocoa cups!  Each cup includes cocoa mix, snowman marshmallows, candy cane, disposable cup and lid, and stickers to decorate your cup.

Hot cocoa cups are $3 each or 2 for $5.  Cash or checks (made payable to HBCSD-Eader) are accepted.

Return your order form by Friday, December 9th, and hot cocoa cups will be delivered at the end of school on Thursday, December 15th…just in time for viewing the holiday lights!

Teacher Cookie Exchange

Friday, December 9th

Help us spoil the teachers and staff at Eader by donating store or bakery bought holiday cookies and goodies for our annual cookie exchange.  Teachers and staff will have the opportunity to make boxes of their favorite treats to take home and share with their families!

Cookies and goodies will need to be dropped off on Friday, December 9th between 8:00 am and 9:00 am at the front gates.  All kinds of goodies are welcome- cookies, brownies, fudge, chocolate covered pretzels, etc!

Holiday Family Movie Night

Thursday, December 8th   5:30- 8:00 pm

Join us for a fun holiday family movie night in the cafeteria!  Bring your blankets and chairs to set up and watch The Grinch (rated PG).  Pizza and concessions will be sold by the 5th grade as a Science Camp fundraiser.  Cash only please.

Raising Cane’s Dine Out

Tuesday, December 6th   11:00 am- 9:00 pm

Let us take care of dinner for you!  Stop by Raising Cane’s (dine in, take out, or drive through) on Tuesday, December 6th and mention Eader Elementary, or show the flyer, and 15% of proceeds will go back to the PTA!

 

 

 

 

 

Save the Date for the Eader Gala and Silent Auction

Friday, March 10, 2023   6:00- 11:00 pm

The Eader Annual Gala and Silent Auction is another one of Eader PTA’s largest fundraisers of the year. This adults only evening is showcased with food, drinks, entertainment and of course, the silent auction.

The silent auction provides the opportunity to bid on some exciting items and support Eader as well.

We look forward to seeing you at the Gala on Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Harborside Ballroom in Newport Beach!

EADER PTA RESTAURANT NIGHTS

Support Eader PTA and our local restaurants when you join us at our upcoming Restaurant Nights! Bring in a flyer (dine-in or take-out ) when you join us on the dates and times at the restaurants listed below and Eader PTA will receive a portion of the proceeds.

LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD VOLUNTEERS!!

Eader PTA is looking for a few volunteers to join the Eader PTA Board! We have the following positions open:

Auditor

Responsibilities include:

  • Complete an audit of the unit’s financial records in January and May.
  • Determine the accuracy of a unit’s financial records.
  • Check that funds are handled in a business-like manner in line with PTA policies and procedures.

 

Ways and Means

Responsibilities include:

  • Organizing programs and fundraisers for the school year
  • Oversees and delegates volunteer recruitment for implementing and running programs
  • Focuses on raising the amount of funds needed to meet the PTA’s budget
